Making a Mayfair Office NCG Ready for Faster Occupation
"NCG understood that The Sixteen wanted more than connectivity – we needed infrastructure that would work for the building and give our occupiers flexibility. Having the fibre backbone and services in place means businesses can choose the level of support that suits them, from a simple connectivity handoff through to a fully managed network. The fact that every occupied floor now uses NCG services is a great reflection of how well the model works in practice.”

The Client
This Property Matters (TPM) is a specialist property management company focused on delivering high-performing buildings and exceptional occupier experiences. At The Sixteen, 16 Hanover Street, TPM manages a newly refurbished Mayfair office building offering 8,080 sq ft of contemporary workspace, private terraces and premium amenities across seven office floors.
The Challenge
The refurbishment of The Sixteen presented an opportunity to make resilient digital connectivity part of the building's occupier proposition. With the previous connectivity disconnected, new infrastructure was needed to provide reliable, diverse carrier services across every office floor, while allowing incoming occupiers to connect quickly without the delays and costs associated with new wayleave agreements.
Our Solution
Building on an established relationship with the landlord and professional team, NCG delivered an NCG Ready solution powered by NCG Spark, installing a building-wide fibre backbone, diverse 2Gb-capable carrier connectivity and dedicated handoffs on every office floor.
Occupiers can choose from connectivity-only to fully managed network services, supported directly by NCG. With the infrastructure already in place, businesses choosing NCG connectivity can avoid negotiating a new wayleave, while a flexible commercial model reduces landlord connectivity costs as occupiers take up services.
The Results
The Sixteen now benefits from a resilient, occupier-ready digital infrastructure that supports faster occupation, greater service flexibility and long-term asset performance.
100% of occupied floors now use NCG services, demonstrating the value of providing connectivity as part of the building's offering. With direct occupier contracting and ongoing managed support, the solution also simplifies building operations and creates a more commercially sustainable connectivity model.
