Making a Landmark London Office NCG Ready. WiredScore Platinum, resilient by design and ready for occupation.

“Bringing NCG in early to the project at 16 St Martin’s Le Grand meant connectivity could be considered as part of the wider refurbishment from the outset. We now have resilient infrastructure across the building that can support occupiers with very different technology requirements. Achieving WiredScore Platinum is an important recognition of the quality of the building's digital infrastructure, and NCG continues to support both the building and our occupiers as their requirements evolve.”
- Jenny Henson, Senior Building Manager, Knight Frank

The Client

Managed by Knight Frank, 16 St Martin’s Le Grand is a landmark Grade II listed building in the heart of London, combining 46,500 sq ft of high-quality contemporary workspace with historic architectural character.

The extensive refurbishment created an opportunity to integrate future-ready digital infrastructure into the building, supporting its premium occupier offering and long-term asset performance.

The Challenge

Delivering resilient connectivity within a historic building required careful planning and coordination across the refurbishment programme.

NCG needed to provide temporary connectivity to support construction activities, establish diverse carrier routes and deliver a robust digital infrastructure across all eight floors. The solution also needed to integrate with building systems and accommodate different occupier technology requirements, while minimising future connectivity delays.

Our Solution

Delivering resilient connectivity within a historic building required careful planning and coordination across the refurbishment programme.

NCG needed to provide temporary connectivity to support construction activities, establish diverse carrier routes and deliver a robust digital infrastructure across all eight floors. The solution also needed to integrate with building systems and accommodate different occupier technology requirements, while minimising future connectivity delays.

The Results

16 St Martin’s Le Grand now benefits from a resilient, occupier-ready digital foundation designed to support the building's ongoing performance. The building has achieved WiredScore Platinum, the highest level of digital connectivity certification, alongside BREEAM Excellent, reflecting the quality of the wider refurbishment.

With approximately 85% of let space already taking NCG services, the infrastructure is delivering tangible occupier value while creating opportunities for ongoing connectivity and managed service revenue. The result is a landmark London office where technology supports faster occupation, flexible services and long-term asset value.
